Rangeview Library District

The Rangeview Library District (“Library District”) serves a population of more than 300,000 residents throughout Thornton, Brighton, Bennett, Commerce City and unincorporated Adams County. As of 2013, the Library District operates seven libraries and one bookmobile. Approximately 28% of the serviced population holds active library cards. In 2009, as part of its renewed branding efforts, the District changed the names of its libraries to Anythink libraries.

District Oversight: |
A five-member board of trustees (appointed by the Adams County Commissioners) meets monthly to review and approve the operations of the Library District.

Property Tax Usage: |
Over 90% of the Library District’s operations are funded through the collection of property taxes.
