District Owned/Maintained Fencing

The Reunion Metro District owns and maintains approximately 13.6 miles of split rail fencing, 5.2 miles of solid privacy fencing and approximately 1,500 feet of other fencing located throughout the Reunion community (marked in orange on the map to the left). Maintenance of these fence lines represents a significant financial investment and expense to the District. The replacement cost of these fence lines is estimated to be approximately $6.1 million.

Homeowners whose lots border District fence lines are responsible for maintaining landscaping, pets and other conditions on their lots in a manner that does not damage or otherwise accelerate the wear and tear of the District's fences. The District will bill the respective homeowners for any costs incurred by the District to repair owner-caused damages to the District's fence lines.
